WJTA-IMCA’s vision is to be the premier global association for the waterjetting, industrial cleaning and industrial vacuuming industries, leading in safety, best practices, new technology and applications, education and training. Goals include safety, membership growth, conference and Expo, financial stability, information delivery, technology development, training and networking.

Cretex Specialty Products names regional manager

Cretex Specialty Products named Robin Wolf Eastern regional manager. She will oversee sales and marketing for the Cretex product lineup and provide support for contractors and municipalities in 23 states.

Perma-Liner receives pipe liner patent

Perma-Liner Industries received a patent for its scrim-enforced pipe liner. The liners are made from a lamination that includes a sealing layer, strength layer, support layer and barrier layer.

Trelleborg celebrates factory expansion

Trelleborg celebrated the opening of its expanded manufacturing facility in Skelmersdale, England. The facility, expanded by 4,150 square meters (44,670 square feet), produces polymer and syntactic foam-based products for the offshore oil and gas industry.

Martin Engineering names distributor

Martin Engineering named Canadian-based Belterra Corp. exclusive distributor for its bulk material handling components in Canada.

Moxa, Terra Ferma form partnership

Moxa and Terra Ferma formed a partnership to integrate Moxa networking hardware into a self-contained, remote SCADA monitoring and video surveillance system for the oil and gas industry.

McElroy adds distributors

McElroy named three domestic and international distributors for its pipe fusion products. They include R & B Company of San Jose, Calif.; Miami International Machinery and Equipment Corp. of Medley, Fla.; and SOFIPO of Moscow, Russia.

Klein receives tool award

Klein Tools was named Hand Tool Brand of the Year by readers of Tools in Action online magazine. Klein received 38 percent of the vote.

National Pump & Compressor opens Louisiana branch

National Pump & Compressor opened a branch in Lake Charles, La. The company’s 32nd location will primarily serve the refining and municipal industries. Austin Swindle will manage the branch location. Daniel Legnion will serve as the local sales representative. The Texas-based company provides pumps, compressors, dryers and related equipment for sale and rent.
