Video Installation Process

Watch the OBIC Lining Installation Process in Action

OBIC's certified installers begin with rigorous surface preparation — hydroblasting and cleaning down to a dry, saturated substrate — so the OBIC polyurea lining adheres flawlessly. The multi-layer OBIC Armor System starts with a strong adhesion base coat, followed by a structural surfacing foam layer and a final barrier coat of OBIC 1000, creating a seamless, 1/2-inch-thick monolithic liner. This method works across all liner systems — manholes, tanks, wet wells, or lift stations — as long as the substrate is dry. Installers are trained to stop infiltration at the source first, ensuring reliable performance and extending infrastructure life. Each installation is marked with an OBIC logo and date stamp, triggering a 10-year material-and-labor warranty.

Water Ram in use 2 250618 133259

Maintenance Tips for the General Pipe Cleaners Kinetic Water Ram

Dave Dunbar of General Pipe Cleaners talks about how to maintain the Kinetic Water Ram to make it last the rest of your career. The General Pipe Cleaners Kinetic Water Ram is a safe and effective way to clear clogged sinks and tubs. Over 50 years of technical advancements make the rugged, all-metal Kinetic Water Ram the choice for quickly clearing clogged drains. Just pump it up, insert it in the drain and snap the trigger. It’s that easy. It’s like no other drain cleaning tool. The futuristic Kinetic Water Ram generates a shock wave that instantly pulverizes stoppages in 1 1/4- to 4-inch lines, yet won’t harm pipes. Quickly clear clogged sinks, toilets and tubs of grease, hair, sediment and debris. You will love its light weight and easy handling. Environmentally friendly, the compact, portable drain cleaning tool is cleaner than snakes and safer than chemicals. It requires no electrical power or CO2 gas. The Kinetic Water Ram uses a burst of compressed air that drives a shock wave (kinetic energy) through water to break up the stoppage. The shock wave bypasses vents and stacks to break up clogs. You get instant impact with no pressure buildup. The built-in pump and pressure gauge lets you choose the right amount of force for each job. The Kinetic Water Ram is particularly useful when the stoppage is on the far side of a drum trap or series of tight bends, since the shock wave can travel around bends without losing its force. The sleek and easy-to-handle Kinetic Water Ram is made of durable plated metal components. The unit comes in a sturdy carrying case with molded compartments for the drain cleaning tool and accessories. Jetting With Jonesie: Hose Pressure Drop Comparison

In this segment of "Get" Jetting with Jonesie, Steve Jones takes you through a comparison of the pressure drop seen through 300 feet of 1/4-inch vs. 300 feet of 5/16-inch jetting hoses. The result is a dramatic 45% difference in net gpm/psi performance, with only a 1/16-inch, 20% net difference in hose I.D. Note also that both hoses are run using the same 8 gpm Warthog 1/4-inch nozzle, and both hoses are fed by the same 9 gpm/4,000 psi jetting system. The comparison results: (a) 300 feet of 1/4-inch (0.25-inch-I.D.) jetter hose: net 6 gpm at 2,100 psi (12,600 CU) (b) 300 feet of 5/16-inch (0.31-inch-I.D.) jetter hose: net 7 gpm at 3,300 psi (23,100 CU) CU = "Cleaning Units" of power (GPM x PSI = CU)See more information about Jetters Northwest equipment at www.jettersnorthwest.com or call 877-901-1936.

Jetting with Jonesie: Advantages of Trap Jetting Hose

In this segment of Get Jetting with Jonesie, Steve Jones discusses three types of small jetting hoses that use 1/8-inch nozzles, and their best applications.Jonesie explains the differences between 1/8-inch jetting hose and 3/16-inch trap jetting hoses. Trap jetting hoses have the same outside diameter as a 1/8-inch hose, but they’re 50% bigger on the inside to significantly reduce pressure-loss to the nozzle. Trap hoses have steel braid inside that can hold pressure in with fewer braids than a typical poly hose, which allows for their larger inside diameter. Another advantage, besides the ability to pass more flow, is it can almost be tied in a knot before it kinks.See more advantages in the video, and check out more information at www.jettersnorthwest.com.
