Brute Hybrid Jetter Option: Incorporating Portability Into Your Van-Pack

The Brute series of jetters from Jetters Northwest can be portable cart-mounted or skid-mounted for convenience. Video Sewerooter T 4

The Portable Sewerooter T-4 Easily Clears Drainlines Up to 100 Feet Long

The Sewerooter T-4 does a better job of clearing inside drainlines up to 100 feet long with 9/16-inch Flexicore cable. It has more torque than traditional 1/2-inch cables, yet it can be used to clear the same 3- to 4-inch drainlines. Need to clear tree roots too? Just switch drums to a 75 foot, 5/8-inch Flexicore cable to clear 3- to 6-inch lines. Added durability The heavy-duty, variable-speed Power Cable Feed drives and retracts 9/16- and 5/8-inch cables at up to 20 feet per minute. To adjust to different cable sizes, simply turn the knob on top of the feed. The screwdriver stays in the toolbox. The heavy-duty reinforced frame and drum support shaft take rough handling in the field. The 1/3 hp capacitor motor has plenty of power to drive more than 100 feet of cable. And the unique self-aligning Flexitube distributor tube reduces the risk of cable tangling in the drum. Learn more
Video Jm 1000 X Mini Jet

Compact Water Jetter Clears Grease, Sand and Ice

General Pipe Cleaners' JM-1000 X Mini-Jet is ideal for clearing clogged sinks, tubs and laundry drains. The lightweight, compact toolbox jetter gives you 1,500 psi of cleaning power, yet weighs just 23 pounds. Clear grease, sand and ice from 1 1/2- to 3-inch lines up to 50 feet long. The pump and motor assembly are safely contained in a rugged metal diamond plate case that can handle abuse in the field. The portable package takes little space in your truck too. Water jets use a stream of high-pressure water that hits the stoppage and flushes it away. The thrust of the nozzle drives the hose down the line and gives you wall to wall cleaning action. Vibration helps the hose slide around tight bends and farther down the line. This is what separates General’s Jet-Set from ordinary pressure washers. It breaks the initial tension between the surface of the hose and the walls of the pipe, increasing cleaning power. The JM-1000 X is easy to carry to and from the job. The pump and motor are centered in the metal case allowing the jetter hose, water supply hose, and power cord to wrap neatly around it to create an ergonomically balanced unit. The efficient pump/motor assembly generates 1,500 psi at 1.4 gpm, yet pulls only 13 amps. Pound for pound and dollar for dollar, the Mini-Jet is a great (and small) investment. Nozzle Storage Bar Added to JNW’s 4-Roller Hose Guide

Video Root66 Demo Steve Landis

Demo: The Versatile Root 66 Drain Machine

Steve Landis of Gatti Plumbing shows you the many ways the Root 66 can help you clean a drain. The Root 66 is a real advancement in sectional cable machine design. No mid-range machine has its versatility and power. You can drive 5/8-inch cables for lines up to 3 inches and 7/8-inch cables for 4-inch lines — and you can switch from one to the other in seconds, without touching the jaws, without an adapter, without tools. And for sink drain work, slip on a drum that holds smaller cables. To operate, just feed a cable into the line and slide the back end into the machine. The excess cable goes into a guide tube. Turn on the sealed motor, press down on the handle, and the Root 66 starts spinning the cable at 400 rpm. The cable stops rotating as soon as you lift the handle, so there’s no additional torque buildup. When using a drum for small drain work, the drum stops turning when you lift the handle to the neutral position.

Video Brute Pressure Diff

Comparing Brute Jetters: 3012 vs. 4009 – Which is Best for Your Needs?

The popular Brute Jetters from Jetters Northwest offer two different flow/pressure options: 12 gpm/3,000 psi (3012) and 9 gpm/4,000 psi (4009). So how do you decide which one is right for your needs? Steve “Jonesie” Jones and Aaron Danneker break down the differences. The key point is to choose the jetter that best meets the majority of your needs; both sizes are great for the 4-inch lines but what other pipe sizes do you need to clear most often? For jetting 4-inch and larger lines the 3012 is a better choice because its higher gpm scours and flushes the larger lines better. But the 4009 is the better choice for jetting 4-inch and smaller lines because its higher psi improves cleaning power through the smaller jetting hoses used to clean smaller pipes. Aaron and Jonesie also discuss the hose size difference between the 3012 and the 4009 with regard to pressure loss through smaller vs. larger diameter jetting hose.
