John Cole of John Cole's Plumbing Professionals talks about the reliability and durability of the General Pipe Cleaners Maxi-Rooter.

Look at the portability that goes with that power and capacity. The Maxi-Rooter rolls on 10-inch ball bearing semi-pneumatic wheels and has V-belt stair climbers for easier transport up and down stairs.

The Maxi-Rooter clears roots and heavy stoppages in 3- to 10-inch lines and holds 125 feet of 3/4-inch and 150 feet of 5/8-inch Flexicore cable. It also has a powerful 3/4 hp motor drive cable up to 200 feet down the line.

A truck loading wheel mounted on the handle is almost like having another person helping you when you lift the machine into a truck. In addition, General made it easy for you to remove the drum if you should want to transport the Maxi-Rooter in two parts.

Another important help to you is a see-through inner drum cage so you can tell how much cable is in the drum. For electrical safety, the foot pedal is air-actuated, eliminating electrical contact between pedal and motor. Equally important, a ground fault circuit interrupter senses current leakage and will shut down the machine before an operator suffers an electric shock.
