Global Pump provides preventive flood relief
Global Pump Company assisted Clemson University in advance of a recent home football game as heavy rain from Hurricane Joaquin devastated parts of South Carolina. The company provided four 18GSTAP diesel-driven pumps, which were tied into independent 18-inch HDPE discharge lines with a discharge run approximately 600 feet from the pumps. The pumps pulled from a basin that fed a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers pump station, which pumped the water into Lake Hartwell.

Green Truck Summit adds educational opportunities
The Green Truck Summit, an alternative fuels and advanced technology conference held annually in conjunction with The Work Truck Show, will feature a more comprehensive educational program for its 2016 conference. The event will include a full day of in-depth general sessions on March 1. Attendees will also be able to choose from more than 30 educational programs from March 2-3.

Nu Flow appoints two new executives
Nu Flow named Justin Mizell executive vice president. He will be responsible for overseeing sales throughout Nu Flow’s East Coast locations. Joshua Shrock was named vice president of East Coast operations.
