In this video, Steve “Jonesie” Jones of Jetters Northwest gives a rundown on line strainer maintenance, which should be done daily (or at the very least, weekly). A clogged line strainer has done its job — preventing debris from entering the water pump — but eventually water will not get through to the pump, which can cause cavitation. Jonesie shows how easy it is to clean out the strainer and protect your investment.
