Registration is open for the North American Society for Trenchless Technology's New Installation Good Practices Guidelines course. This virtual webinar will take place June 26-27 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern Time each day, and will offer an in-depth overview of trenchless methods.

The course is designed for contractors, municipal and utility employees, consulting engineers, inspectors, and industry practitioners who are looking to enhance their knowledge and skills in trenchless technology.

The course will cover a range of essential topics through detailed case studies, including:

• Trenchless methods used for grade and alignment control and guidance;
• The limitations and advantages of each method discussed;
• The steps you need to follow to know the underground;
• How to establish the invert for a proper launch;
• The history, sizes, equipment options and process of excavating through different ground types, pipe materials;
• Ways to track where the pipe is located underground; and
• Installation and jacking forces, and ways to reduce these forces.

The course fee is $300 for NASTT members and $350 for non-members, which includes attendance, course handouts and a CEU certificate from Louisiana Tech University. A digital training manual will be sent to participants prior to the course. Although membership is not required to register, participants must create a user account in the NASTT portal.
