Registration Opens for NASTT's Intro to Trenchless Technology–New Installations Course

The North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT) is offering an Introduction to Trenchless Technology–New Installations course Jan. 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern Time. This course from the Good Practices series is a comprehensive introduction to various trenchless methods used in North America for installing new pipe and conduit.

A comprehensive curriculum

The course will cover a range of techniques including auger boring, pipe ramming, pipe jacking, HDD, microtunneling and pilot tube methods. It is designed to cater to the needs of contractors, municipal and utility employees, consulting engineers, inspectors and industry practitioners.

Whether you're new to the trenchless technology industry or seeking a refresher course, this session is suited to enhance your understanding and skills.

NASTT will have expert volunteer instructors on hand to lead the course, including Matthew Wallin, P.E., of Bennett Trenchless Engineers; Diana Worth, P.E., of Cascade Trenchless Consulting; and moderator Kate Wallin from Bennett Trenchless Engineers.

Interactive virtual learning

This virtual course offers all the benefits of NASTT's in-person training events, including real-time Q&A opportunities with expert instructors, an electronic course manual for note-taking and class engagement and a companion Good Practices Guidelines book (mailed post-course).

Participants will receive Continuing Education Units provided by the Trenchless Technology Center at Louisiana Tech University.
