Milling Cutter and Cutting Ball Technology

The Enz milling cutter and cutting ball offers a complete line of cutting solutions for the toughest projects.

The milling cutters are designed to remove the hardest deposits, such as limescale and concrete. They work with a percussion system of 600 to 3,000 impulses per minute and up to 15 tons of impact force. Enz recommends using carbide teeth for limescale and diamond teeth for concrete. You can use it in pipes ranging from 1.2 inches with the ML28 (13.028N) up to 24 inches. Most of the milling cutters work with recycling water. In many cases, the use of a percussion milling cutter is the only alternative to digging up pipes under foundations or roads. By adding the diamond crown cutter, you can even remove protruding laterals.

In addition to the milling cutters, the cutting ball family can remove hard deposits in pipes with bends and curves due to its spherical shape. The side blades are self-sharpening and maintain their sharpness over their entire service life. The cutting ball’s area of application is diverse; it’s not only good for removing roots, but it can also remove lime deposits by adding the vibration mode. The cutting ball is leakage free and can be operated with recycling water.
