PrimeCem MSM (Microsilica Mortar) from Prime Resins is a blend of Portland cement, graded silica sand, fibers and silica fume. The mortar may be hand- or spray-applied in a nominal thickness of 1/4 to 2 inches. Thicker applications can be achieved by applying it in successive lifts. Uses include repairing concrete walls, ceilings, lining brick or concrete manholes and lift stations, and horizontal pipe repair. Microsilica Mortar provides an extremely dense matrix and will accept coatings at earlier ages than typical Portland cement repair products. Mr. Manhole Cookie Cutter
Using the Cookie Cutter system from Mr. Manhole, the contractor simply drills a 1.25-inch-diameter hole over the affected utility using the included battery-powered drill. They then cut a 74-inch “cookie” through asphalt or concrete in minutes with the cutter that mounts on a skid loader. The operator is protected from silica via the Mr. Mister included on the cutter. The cookie is lifted directly on a waiting truck via the lifter included in the package. A round personnel protection cage is placed in the excavation and vacuum excavating begins. The Strong Company Strong-Seal System
The Strong-Seal System from The Strong Company offers a variety of cost-effective engineered cementitious products designed to rehabilitate municipal concrete and masonry structures and effectively stop inflow, infiltration and exfiltration.
