Vanair Launches Web Site

Vanair has launched a new Web site, www.vanair.com, for its All-in-One power systems, including the Air N Arc air compressor/generator/welder/battery booster power system.

Mi-T-M Launches Product Web Site

Mi-T-M Corp. has launched a new product Web site, www.mitm.com, that enables users to search by product series, specification or model for any of the company’s pressure washers, air compressors, portable generators, water treatment systems, wet/dry vacuums, job site boxes and portable heaters.

RS Technik Launches Web Site

RS Technik has launched a new product, training and services Web site, www.rstechnik.com, for trenchless pipe rehabilitation and repair. The English and German language site will soon include Spanish, French and Italian versions.

ISCO Launches Pipe Products Web Site

ISCO Industries launched a new pipe products Web site, www.isco-pipe.com. The interactive site features a technical library, products and services information, and animation of various pipe fusion and installation procedures. Other features include a newsroom, image gallery, market information and Frequently Asked Questions section.

Joy Purchases EasyCAM Sewer Inspection Equipment

Rick Joy has purchased EasyCAM Sewer Inspection Equipment and will be headquartered in Naples, Fla.

Sewer Equipment Co. Builds 5,000th Machine

Sewer Equipment Co. of America produced its 5,000th sewer cleaner in August. The 800-HPR truck jet was built at the company’s Chadwick, Ill., production facility and sold by Jack Doheny Supplies of Michigan to the Oakland County Water Resources Commission in Pontiac, Mich. The fully enclosed and heated truck jet features an extendable/retractable hose reel.

Schier Products Moves to Kansas

Schier Products in July moved its drain line production and shipping operations to 9500 Woodend Road, Edwardsville, Kan., near Kansas City. The producer of grease and solids interceptors had been located in Wisconsin the past 40 years.

Mr. Rooter Recognizes Franchisees

Steve Kaldis, Patrick O’Connor and David Abrams of Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, were named Franchisee of the Year and Sales Leader of the Year (over 500,000) by Mr. Rooter at the company’s international convention in July. Other award recipients included Vinnie Sposari, Seattle, Wash., Pioneer (Lifetime Achievement); Paul and Saunda Kitchen, Santa Rosa, Calif., Sales Leader of the Year (under 500,000); Andrew and Sheryl August, Freehold, N.J., and Pompano Beach, Fla., Excellence in Mentoring; Boo White, Bozeman, Mont., Excellence in Leadership; Michelle Aliotti, Santa Cruz, Calif., Woman of the Year; Heath and Heather Vickers, Macon, Ga., Rookie of the Year; Dan Burleson, Colorado Springs, Colo., Service Leader of the Year; Dan Rushford, Santa Rosa, Calif., Technician of the Year; Debbie Pezoldt, Bozeman, Mont., Office Professional of the Year.

I.T. Awarded WSSC Pipeline Inspection Software Contract

Infrastructure Technologies was awarded a CCTV inspection software contract in June for the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission in Laurel, Md. I.T. will provide infrastructure support for implementation of the new application, including hardware, software installation, configuration and training.

Wastequip Names Senior Leadership Team

Wastequip has named Steve Svetik chief financial officer, Rusty Andrews chief information officer and Sherri Satterfield vice president of human resources. The announcements come in connection with the move of the company’s headquarters to Charlotte, N.C. Svetik has 30 years of accounting and finance experience. He has an MBA from Cleveland State University and is a CPA. Andrews has a bachelor’s degree in business from Appalachian State University and Satterfield has a bachelor’s degree in business from Montreat College and is completing her master’s degree in human resources from Clemson University.

Perma-Liner Names Manager, Launches Web Site

Perma-Liner Industries Inc. has named William Leonard international business development manager. He will handle international expansion and development and establish worldwide distributors to expand the Perma-Liner brand. The company also launched a Web site, www.perma-liner.com, for its trenchless lining products. The site features systems, materials, equipment, news and events.
