Electric Eel Introduces Camera Inspection System

The EelCam EC-8SD camera inspection system from Electric Eel features a digital recorder that captures inspection video on a secure digital flash card. The control unit is housed in a compact and rugged carry case that weighs 10.4 pounds and includes controls for microphone, lights, camera test port and secondary video and audio outs. Date, distance and time are displayed on the screen. A keyboard for adding text is included. A 1.3-inch diameter camera with 512 sonde is standard, along with 200 feet of premium Gel Rod push cable. NLB Introduces Saflex 3000 Waterjet System

The Saflex 3000 semi-automated waterjet system from NLB Corp. features wireless remote controls for operator safety. It can clean three tubes at once on both the in and out stroke, and typically cleans 100 tubes in less than three hours. The unit operates at pressures up to 40,000 psi, inserting three flexible lances into tubes with an X-Y positioning device. The flex lances can go around bends as needed, with adjustable stroke lengths for bundles of different lengths. It can clean tubes from 4 to 15 mm in diameter. The 25 hp jetter has a flow rate of 8.5 gpm and up to 3,500 psi.
