Dwyer Group announces Women in the Trades scholarship recipients
Dwyer Group announced the Women in the Trades scholarship recipients for the fall 2018 semester. The program, launched in 2012 by Dina Dwyer-Owens and Dwyer Group, will award seven women each a $1,500 scholarship for demonstrating outstanding work, experience and passion for their chosen service trades industry.

The fall 2018 Women in the Trades scholarship recipients include: Megan Boyd of Waco, Texas; Danni Kohl of Spiritwood, Saskatchewan, pursuing a career in commercial electricity; Elizabeth Moreno of Tacoma, Washington, pursuing a career in carpentry; Amy Morrice of Victoria, British Columbia, pursuing a career in electrical trades; Ana Acetta of Elmhurst, New York, pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering; and Martha Enzler of Minneapolis and Tamishella Holloway of Evergreen Park, Illinois, who are both pursuing careers in HVAC.

GPS Insight recognized for outstanding customer service
GPS Insight was acknowledged for its exceptional customer service at the 2018 American Business Awards. GPS Insight won the Bronze Stevie Award for Customer Service Department of the Year in the software category. This is the sixth award GPS Insight has won for customer service in recent years. The company was also the only telematics company that received an award for customer service this year.

StoneAge welcomes new vice president of finance and information technology
StoneAge welcomed Peter Brooks as vice president of finance and information technology. He will be based out of the Durango, Colorado, home office and provide oversight of accounting, financial and information strategies.

HammerHead Trenchless launches redesigned website
The newly redesigned www.hammerheadtrenchless.com website provides customers in a wide range of industries faster and easier access to in-depth information and resources regarding trenchless methods and products. In addition to improved navigation and design, other new features include a dealer locator tool; enhanced product pages; links to purchase products on the e-commerce site; industry-specific content to help users find trenchless solutions to match their needs; and access to the HammerHead Trenchless resource library, with user manuals, product literature, and other documents.

Logiball marks 35-year milestone
Logiball is celebrating its 35th year in business. Roger Bissonnette founded the company in 1983 and started manufacturing inflatable pipe plugs and other equipment related to the maintenance and rehabilitation of collections systems.

Through the years, the Logiball team has grown and evolved with the industry and has maintained an open ear to help its customers solve a variety of different issues. The company wants to thank its customers for their continued support and trust throughout the years, and it plans to continue to work in partnership with them to manufacture and develop state-of-the-art equipment.

Logiball also thanks its past and present loyal employees and suppliers that have helped the company reach the 35-year milestone.

RIDGID names new director of product management
Steven Shepard was named director of product management for RIDGID in Elyria, Ohio. In this role, he will manage the development of new products from creation through launch; lead global, cross-functional new product development teams; and design and implement a growth strategy for RIDGID hand, tubing, and pipe fabrication tools. Shepard, formerly with Black & Decker, holds a bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University.
