Dual-Purpose HotJet II Can Expand Your Company’s Services

Plumbers and drain cleaning professionals are benefiting from the ongoing innovations HotJet USA is developing for the drainline cleaning industry. “As a result, drainline cleaning professionals are substantially increasing their revenue by utilizing the HotJet II for their drain-related jobs such broken pipe repair, drain relining and commercial drain maintenance,” says Chester Axley, HotJet USA division manager.

Dual-purpose jetter

The HotJet USA HotJet II serves two purposes – functioning as a jetter and a power washer. While HotJet USA units are manufactured for sewer and drain cleaning, the washdown system on the machine is an efficient, high-pressure, hot-water power washer capable of cleaning garbage cans, house exteriors, parking garages, restaurants and fleets. Plumbing professionals will see increased business possibilities by increasing their business model to include services that the competition doesn’t have.

Hot and cold operation

With the HotJet II, the operator has the option to run either hot or cold water. The heater is thermostatically controlled and can be run from 80 to 140 degrees F. Hot water is proven to clean drains better by emulsifying the sludge and grease buildups. Cold-water-only units are great at flushing the line, but hot water deep cleans. Also, hot water leaves the drainline hose clean.

Breaking the biofilm

In all drains, there is a biofilm buildup. Breaking it up requires more than just high-pressure water. Using hot water with HotJet USA’s Total-C drainline treatment removes the biofilm. Once the biofilm has been removed, the drain system will stay cleaner longer, giving customers the best long-term solution when drainline cleaning professionals clean their drains.

The power-wash advantage

The HotJet II comes equipped with the option to run it as an ultra-high pressure, hot-water power washer. This will give the operator the option to clean up after a jet job and also offer more applications with this equipment (i.e., manhole reconditioning, grease trap washouts and retail entries).

With its premium V-belt triplex pump and a max output rating of 10 gpm at 4,000 psi, the HotJet II effectively cleans 2- to 12-inch lines, and its pipe runs up to 300 feet. Larger fixed-output units run the risk of flooding smaller drains.

Safety and training

Every purchase of a HotJet II includes safety and operational training at HotJet USA headquarters in Salt Lake City. This one-day course extensively reviews the safety procedures for operating the jetting equipment and provides valuable asset training in business marketing and the latest in nozzle technology. Flights (from the lower 48 states only), lodging and meals are included with the price of the equipment.

HotJet USA is a division of Power Line Industries Inc. and is one of the leading engineers of high-quality drainline jetting equipment chosen by professionals worldwide. HotJet USA trailer-mounted jetters are sold direct to the consumer, manufactured in the U.S. and available for shipping anywhere in the world.
