The HD – Heavy Demolition Series of protective clothing from TST Sweden has a durable outer material, TECHSTEEL, which is 50 percent stronger against abrasion and tearing compared with the outer material that it replaces. It incorporates Vectran, a high-performance multifilament fiber spun from liquid crystal polymer. It forms the base and then different methods are used to treat and prepare the fabric. The collection is available as a jacket, trousers and gaiters, and broadens the company’s waterjet protection range of clothing.
