Honda Power Equipment Mfg. will make $8.5 million in capital improvements to its facility in Swepsonville, N.C., marking the 30th anniversary of operations at the plant. The improvements will add a new snow blower production line and prepare for production of Honda generators. The 375,000-square-foot facility employs 600 workers and has produced 30 million products in the past three decades.
