The HotJet III trailer-mounted water jetter from Hot Jet USA runs on two 36 hp Vanguard engines and delivers hot or cold water at 20 gpm/3,850 psi for cleaning lines from 2 to 24 inches in diameter.

“Time is money and money is time, and when you’re on a job and you don’t know what you’re running into, you need to be able to have a rig on site to battle whatever it is you’re up against,” says Elle Eyre, a dedicated relationship manager at Hot Jet USA. “The HotJet III is perfect for that, and it opens up more opportunities for guys who have been just sticking to residential drainlines. That’s really the best benefit of it, the opportunity it provides to the operator because they can take on just about anything.”

Operators can control the jetter via a wireless remote from up to 300 feet. Features include 500 feet of 1/2-inch hose, 300 feet of 3/8-inch hose and 100 feet of washdown hose (1/4-inch line is included for laterals as well as 10 feet of safety leader hose).

“The sewer hoses are all included in the package,” Eyre says. “It also comes complete with a set of four nozzles for each size of hose. All our nozzles are custom-drilled to maximize torque so it can pull the hose down the pipe much more effectively.”

The unit is built on a heavy-duty 5- by 14-foot tandem axle, diamond-plate trailer. A 330-gallon water tank is standard, with an optional upgrade to two tanks for a total of 660 gallons. It also features an antifreeze winterization system — including a 12-gallon antifreeze tank — air purge and complete system recirculation.

“You can run a single engine, either hot or cold, and get 10 gpm at 3,850 psi running the 3/8-inch line,” Eyre says. “Plus it has a 1/4-inch jumper reel on there, so you’ve got a satellite reel — you can go from 2- to 12-inch lines on a single engine.

“It’s our most versatile unit, especially if you’re a smaller operation and you’ve got one guy out there,” she says. “We want to minimize downtime and maximize production. With hot water you can get jobs done faster, and the more jobs you can get done in a day, the more money you can make.” 800/624-8186; www.hotjetusa.com.
