The Water & Wastewater Equipment, Treatment & Transport Show is best place to get a hands-on, up-close look and the best new equipment in the industry. But it’s also a great place to learn more about how to use that equipment to get the most out of it.
Join Steve “Jonesie” Jones from Jetters Northwest for this WWETT Show seminar and learn exactly how your jetters clean pipelines.
Read on for the course description and more about the speaker.
The demand for "service jetting" (hydro-jetting service lines inside buildings, side sewers and area drains) is a fast-growing and profitable part of our industry. Water is the cleaning tool of hydro-jetting (hence the name), yet there is a lot of confusion and misunderstanding with regard to how a hydro-jetter really works as a "high-pressure pumping system" for cleaning pipelines. In this session we will discuss how a hydro-jetter puts water to work to clear blockages and clean pipes, and how to maximize a jetter's ability to "feed" the water jets of a jetting nozzle for maximum pipe cleaning and blockage-busting power. We will also break down the true relationship of a jetter's gpm and psi capability, and discuss how a jetter's size is really determined by its combination of gpm and psi, and how that combination relates to various types of cleaning in various sizes of pipes.
- Discover how a jetter really functions as a high-pressure pumping system for cleaning pipes
- Break down the combination of gpm and psi — the true “performance capability” of any hydro-jetter
- Demonstrate how gpm vs. resistance creates psi, and together they equal cleaning power
- Discuss advantages/disadvantages of hydro-jetter "types": trailer, van/truck-mounted, and portable/cart
