Mongoose Jetters has announced the launch of the company’s redesigned and upgraded website — www.mongoosejetters.com. The website contains current pictures, specifications, features and options to help customers choose the jetting package best suited to their specific needs.

“Now customers can view our entire unit, nozzle, and accessory product lines from a single venue,” said Ryan Peake, the SE/SW direct channel sales manager for Mongoose Jetters. “The Mongoose website was over five years old, and in dire need of updating to help showcase the many design improvements that we’ve made over the years.”

Mongoose Jetters, of Dixon, Ill., is a specialized high-pressure jetting product line of Sewer Equipment Co. of America for use by plumbers, municipalities and sewer and drain cleaners. Sewer Equipment Co. of America is a 71-year-old company that manufactures high-pressure sewer jetters, rodding machines, bucket machines, truck or trailer-mounted vacuum units and easement machines for use in the municipal sewer cleaning market. Peake says that the new website is designed to grow with the company.

“The cliché is true, a picture is truly worth a thousand words,” Peake said. “The website will continue to evolve and be updated with new machines, customer pictures and product improvements and developments.”

The site allows customers to access the company’s financing programs, service options and browse through in-stock new and pre-owned equipment. Specialty and custom-built units are also displayed, showing the variety of options that are available. Peake says that the company is planning to add training and marketing programs, sewer jetting tips and other information, and videos in the coming months as the website continues to grow. The company is also keen on making the site more interactive with their customer base.

“Customers are now able to interact with our sales and engineering staff by filling out the information request form, and the site links directly to our Facebook and Twitter pages,” Peake said. “Also, customers can download various pictures throughout the site, including our full product catalog.”

Another added feature allows municipal and federal government customers to conveniently click directly to the HGAC (Houston-Galveston Area Council, a governmental agency that provides a cooperative purchasing program) and GSA (U.S. General Services Administration, another cooperative purchasing program) buy boards to see the products available. The page also links directly to the company’s three other websites, Sewer Equipment Co. of America (www.sewerequipment.com), Ram-Vac (www.ram-vac.com) and Sewer Shop (www.sewershop.com). The site also touts the company’s 24-hour assistance hotline, 855-SERV247 (855/737-8247).

The project is one that the company had discussed internally for several years, but only implemented recently. “This has been in the works for several months, and is still ongoing, but the bulk of the material is up, and we’re anxious to start getting some feedback,” Peake said. “So far we’ve had very positive reviews from our customer base.”
