Vacuworx welcomes senior director of sales

Vacuworx welcomed Charlie Cunningham to the North America sales and leadership teams as senior director of sales. Cunningham brings more than two decades of experience in sales, marketing and business development activities. He recently spent 15 years with Astec Industries as vice president of sales. With Astec Underground and GEFCO, he led the development of initiatives to identify potential markets, new products, and sales and marketing domestically and internationally.


Kaiser Premier announces partnership with Hathorn

Kaiser Premier announced a dealer/distributor and authorized service center partnership with Hathorn for its line of pipeline inspection camera solutions covering the West Coast of the U.S. Kaiser will be selling Hathorn’s DuraScope line of standard and Wi-Fi camera reels. The reels come fitted with the DuraCAM line of camera heads, command modules featuring VividHDTM and complete inspection camera systems.


Total Equipment expands Vermeer industrial representation

Total Equipment acquired the rights from Vermeer Caribbean to represent the Vermeer industrial product line in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Under the leadership of Charles de Armas, Total Equipment has represented Vermeer Corp.’s sales, service and parts in Puerto Rico since 2014. With this acquisition, the dealership will now operate under the Vermeer Total Equipment brand. Company headquarters will remain in Puerto Rico while the dealership offers the full line of Vermeer industrial equipment and full-service operations on the island of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands and a commercial office in the Dominican Republic.

Vacuum Truck Rentals announces new hires, certification

Vacuum Truck Rentals announced Kevin Shepard as the newest member of its sales team. He will serve the Merrillville, Indiana, region and brings more than 34 years’ experience in the vacuum truck and heavy-equipment industry. Shepard began his career as a laborer working in waterblasting and as a vacuum truck operator before moving into management and executive roles. He is a graduate of Indiana State University with a degree in business administration.

VTR also announced Jesse Medema as service manager at its Deer Park, Texas, location. He brings 20 years’ experience as a mechanic to the company, with 17 years exclusively in the vacuum truck industry. He began his career as a mechanic’s assistant before moving into the vacuum truck and industrial equipment sector. He began as a service technician where he gained key skills and knowledge of vacuum trucks before transitioning to a service manager role.

The company also announced it is now a certified “R” Stamp Tank Repair Facility, having completed the necessary requirements set forth by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors. As a certified facility, VTR is required to maintain high standards in all of its procedures when performing repairs including materials, technician skills and quality control procedures. The quality control system also requires documentation of all repair procedures and maintaining an inspection agreement.
