Turning Waste Into Fuel

An industry trade show looks at a wide range of alternative ways to produce energy and conserve finite resources.

Few industries compare with wastewater treatment when it comes to turning waste materials into energy. The burning of digester gas to produce heat, electricity, or both is decades onld, and the practice is growing.

Those involved with the biosolids side of treatment plant operations my want to consider attending the 3rd Annual Waste-to-Fuels Conference & Trade Show, to be held at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront, in Jacksonville, Fla., April 18-20.

This show provide a forum for letting the public and private sectors know about the economic and environmental benefits of converting waste materials to alternative fuels, such as biodiesel, ethanol, and about recovering energy from fuels such as landfill and digester gas.

Attendees will be able to network with peers and visit exhibitors to preview the newest advances in alternative fuel production products and services. The conference is designed to attract individual professionals and representatives from organizations and companies around the nation.
