In this segment of “Get Jetting with Jonesie,” Steve Jones discusses small jetting hose, optimal flow rates and best applications.

Jones explains the differences between 1/8-inch jetting hose and trap jetting hoses. Trap jetting hoses have the same outside diameter as a 1/8-inch hose, but they’re twice as big on the inside. There’s a steel braid inside that can hold pressure in with fewer braids than a typical poly hose, which allows for the larger inside diameter. Another advantage, besides the ability to pass more flow, is it can almost be tied in a knot before it kinks.
