VT Specialized Vehicle Corp.’s Hackney Division has launched a contractor service industry Web site, www.hackneyusa.com. The site includes drawings and detailed specifications for all Hackney products.

McLaughlin Vacuum Excavators Used to Clean Gulf Spill

McLaughlin vacuum excavators are being used to help with oil cleanup efforts in the Gulf of Mexico. The excavators are being deployed on barges to remove oil from skimmers located throughout the Gulf. Units also are being used to clean oil from sea walls and riprap.

Geospatial Creates Infrastructure Blog

ADS Acquires Inserta Fittings, Piedmont, Foltz

Advanced Drainage Systems has acquired Inserta Fittings of Forest Grove, Ore., manufacturer of Inserta Tee. The acquisition follows the purchase of Piedmont Concrete, Pineville, N.C., manufacturer of precast sanitary and stormwater structures, and the April purchase of Foltz Concrete Pipe Co. of Winston-Salem, N.C.

Henrich Joins SewerVUE

Gordon Henrich has joined SewerVUE as vice president of sales and

marketing. He has extensive experience working with North American engineering companies as well as major municipalities and utilities, assisting in understanding and matching the appropriate inspection technologies with the condition-based asset management requirements of pipeline owners.
