NLB Introduces ALT-5000 Automated Waterjet System

The ALT-5000 fully automated tube-cleaning waterjet system from NLB Corp. features an adjustable lance stroke that can be configured for bundles up to 30 feet long. The system has five rigid lances, with each nozzle able to deliver up to 20,000 psi. A hydraulic drive inserts the five lances at a rate of 39 inches per second. All movements are controlled by the operator from an overhead station. The diesel-power unit is completely self-contained. RIDGID Introduces Endura-Clear Cutting Oil

McLaughlin Unveils Steering Head for Auger Bores

The ON Target auger boring system from McLaughlin enables contractors to control horizontal on-grade (up and down) changes as well as lateral (left to right) direction changes. A control station with hydraulic power pack controls the movement of the head, while a built-in water level helps monitor grade throughout the bore. Clear Computing Expands QuickBooks Support

The 2009 version of Clear Computing’s Total Activity Control operations management system offers expanded QuickBooks support, featuring unique customer IDs to prevent duplicate entries and faster data import. Imported data also contains job start date, customer notes, credit limit and other financial information. StoneAge Replaces BC 505 Cartridge

General Pipe Offers Hot-Shot Pipe Thawing Machines

The Hot-Shot 320 and Hot-Shot 400 pipe-thawing machines from General Pipe Cleaners are designed to thaw frozen pipes in minutes, eliminating the need to tear up floors and break through walls. Model 320 generates 320 amps, thawing up to 100 feet of 1 1/2-inch pipe. Model 400 has a dual-level output. With 400 amps of power, it can thaw up to 175 feet of 1 1/2-inch pipe.
